Credit Analyst

Sinclair is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team! The Credit Analyst evaluates customer creditworthiness by analyzing financial and credit data to minimize risk, manage credit exposure, and support sales growth. This role requires a strong attention to detail, balancing sound credit decisions and providing a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Credit Analysis & Customer Onboarding - Assess credit risk for new and existing customers using financial statements and third-party credit reports. - Establish and maintain appropriate credit limits and payment terms. - Conduct special credit reviews and customer appraisals as needed. - Support Sales and Collections teams while maintaining positive customer relationships. - Facilitate customer onboarding, including issuing welcome letters and payment portal information. Order & Credit Workflow Management - Monitor and release orders on credit hold, communicating hold reasons and resolutions with Sales. - Collaborate with Sales and Collections to manage credit exposure, past-due accounts, and dispute risk. - Seek approvals for credit and terms exceptions aligned with business objectives. Business Knowledge & Professional Development - Demonstrate working knowledge of company systems, processes, and policies. - Apply product and process knowledge to resolve issues and respond to customer needs. - Pursue continuous learning through Sinclair University and other professional development opportunities. The hourly compensation range for this role is $22.66 to $26.66 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
