Your role: Lowry, a ReSource Pro company, is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Audit Assistant to join our team. The Insurance Audit Assistant will be facilitating the collection and review of records necessary for insurance audits. This role involves direct communication with policy holders to gather documentation, initial data analysis to confirm completeness, and coordination with auditors for the final audit phase. The Insurance Audit Assistant ensures timely and accurate preparation for audits while maintaining productivity standards and contributing to process consistency. All remote positions are based in the United States, and candidates must reside within the U.S. to be eligible for consideration. In This Role, You Will... - Receive audit assignments from Audit Inventory Specialists (AIS) and review documentation requirements. - Request and collect records from policyholders including payroll reports, subcontractor information, certificates of insurance, and other required audit documentation. - Analyze received records to ensure they are complete, legible, and fall within the correct audit or policy period and identify and request missing or incorrect documents, and conduct follow-up with insureds as needed. - Flag audits as "Interview Ready" once records meet the completeness criteria and escalate to Lead Audit Assistant for quality review. - Initiate and maintain professional communication with insureds and agents through calls and emails, following the Carrier’s Contact Schedule; upload emailed documents to audit portals when insureds are unable to use the client portal. - Clearly explain audit expectations and timelines to policyholders and agents. - Promote use of the digital portal for document submission to streamline workflows. - Answer policyholder inquiries, providing clear, timely, and respectful responses. - Maintain customer satisfaction through consistent, courteous, and helpful engagement. - Manage a working inventory of 80–150 audits based on experience and work schedule; ensure records are received within 20 days of assignment when possible. - Submit audits as non-productive after maximum 30-day contact schedule if documents remain uncollected and write up and submit non-productive audits when appropriate, with required documentation and notes. - Follow process standards and timelines as outlined in LAI guidelines and internal procedures. What You Need to be Successful... - High School Diploma or equivalent - Previous data entry, call-center, customer service or office experience - Experience in insurance auditing, accounting or a related field preferred - Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Microsoft Office experience - Excellent ability to navigate change Your Compensation... Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $13.00-$22.00 per hour.
