This role is a hands-on, technical role that will prepare, plan, execute, and monitor the installation of MHS Genesis (Electronic Health Record) at various military medical treatment facilities (MTF) as part of the wave approach. Work Arrangement - Remote A strong knowledge of medical devices is required; system administration, operating systems, networking and security in a DoD environment is desired. A background in Military Health System (MHS) and the Electronic Health Record platform of the MHS preferred. Requirements - BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. - Minimum 2 years of experience supporting system administration, systems integration, network operations, medical device integration, or related technical work in military healthcare or other regulated environments. - Experience supporting the sustainment, maintenance, and optimization of medical software, clinical systems, medical device interfaces, and associated infrastructure in an enterprise environment. - Working knowledge of DoD networks, operating environments, cybersecurity requirements, and applicable security policies. - Familiarity with DoD system lifecycle, sustainment, change management, and configuration management practices. - Ability to develop clear technical documentation, reports, briefings, standard operating procedures, and status updates for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience supporting enterprise operations in an Agile or similarly structured delivery environment. - Experience organizing, coordinating, and tracking work across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data, trends, and performance metrics. - Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting operational reports, dashboards, metrics, and performance measures used to monitor service delivery and vendor performance. - Ability to support the government in evaluating vendor performance, tracking deliverables, identifying gaps, and documenting risks, issues, and corrective actions using excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to interface effectively with Military Health System personnel, government leaders, clinicians, biomedical staff, and contractor teams. - US Citizenship required; Active Secret or Public Trust clearance strongly preferred. Candidates eligible to obtain a Secret clearance may be considered. - Ability to attend customer meetings in Rosslyn, VA, as needed. - Ability to travel for client or site meetings, as needed. Responsibilities - Provide day-to-day sustainment support for medical device integration, clinical information systems, interfaces, networks, and related hardware/software in support of operational healthcare environments. - Monitor system health, operational performance, and sustainment activities to help ensure continuity of service and timely resolution of issues. - Coordinate with government stakeholders, site personnel, solution owners, and vendors to track system performance, maintenance activities, incidents, service requests, and ongoing operational needs. - Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to medical device integration, interface performance, connectivity, configuration, and lifecycle maintenance. - Track and manage sustainment-related actions including break/fix items, upgrades, patches, hardware refreshes, configuration changes, and vendor deliverables. - Assist the government client with development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, metrics, and performance measures used to assess operational status and hold vendors accountable for work performance. - Analyze vendor performance against established requirements, timelines, SLAs, deliverables, and quality expectations; identify variances, risks, and areas requiring corrective action. - Prepare recurring and ad hoc status reports, executive summaries, briefings, and documentation for government leadership regarding sustainment performance, issue trends, and vendor execution. - Support governance activities by documenting action items, risks, issues, dependencies, and performance concerns, and by following those items through resolution. - Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to validate completion of assigned work efforts and confirm that delivered solutions meet operational and contractual expectations. - Support configuration management, change control, and documentation updates to maintain accurate system baselines and operational records. - Support ongoing validation of devices, interfaces, and local configurations to ensure continued functionality, compliance, and alignment with clinical and technical requirements. - Assist with evaluation of workflow impacts and data mapping requirements associated with medical devices and MHS GENESIS or related clinical systems. - Support development and refinement of sustainment procedures, maintenance processes, knowledge transfer materials, automation and training documentation. - Engage with biomedical, clinical, technical, and vendor teams to support lifecycle management and long-term operational success of medical device integration capabilities. Job Requirements
