Overview Location: Remote/Telehealth Position: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Schedule: Evening shift: 6pm-2am Compensation: $65 per hour, depending on experience The Life Center of Galax is Virginia's Leading Residential, Outpatient & Detox Rehab Center for Drug Addiction & Alcohol Abuse, specializing in Residential Rehab, Detox, Opiate Dependecy Recovery, Methadone Maintenance, and Outpatient programs to address community needs. We are currently seeking to add a Full-Time, Remote/Telehealth Family Nurse Practitioner or PA to support our patients in admissions. Autonomous is preferred. About the role: Provide medical evaluations and treatment of patients at facility under the supervisor of the Medical Director and work collaboratively with the medical/clinical staff under the guidelines of state licensure for Nurse Practitioners. Responsibilities - Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. - Participate in the formulation of patient Master Treatment Plan - Assess physical and psychiatric health of patient and formulate measures to meet patient needs. - Chart clinical observation (direct or through dictation), evaluations and treatment of patient in required time according to facility guidelines. - Communicate with physicians and other staff as necessary to provide quality care for patient within appropriate guidelines. - Encourage family involvement in patient care. Respond to identified patient and family educational needs. - Support and follow legal requirements, hospital policy and procedures, medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements. - Provide services that are in accordance with the state guidelines for Nurse Practitioners. - Provide on-call responsibilities on scheduled basis directed by medical staff. - May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe medication. - Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority. Qualifications - Master's in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program required. - Clinical experience working with the patient population of the facility; ability to demonstrate knowledge of concepts of limit setting, therapeutic boundaries, crisis management, therapeutic treatment, environment and patient care required. - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing Nurse Practitioner preferred. Licenses/Certifications: - Board Certified Nurse Practitioner required. - Licensed to practice in the state in which the facility operates. - DEA license. About the Role Imagine helping patients receive high-quality care without leaving their homes. At DrHouse, we are building a new model of virtual healthcare that is fast, accessible, and centered on both patient and provider experience. DrHouse is seeking board-certified OB/GYN physicians to join our growing telemedicine team. This is a telehealth position open to physicians licensed in Oklahoma (OK). Providers may reside anywhere in the state, including major metropolitan areas, rural regions, and underserved communities throughout Oklahoma. This role offers the flexibility to design a schedule that supports work-life balance while delivering high-quality, patient-centered virtual care statewide. We are looking for physicians who bring both clinical excellence and compassion to an innovative telemedicine platform. In this role, you will manage a broad spectrum of clinical cases, including primary care, urgent care, men’s and women’s health, and chronic conditions, all delivered through secure virtual consultations. What You’ll Be Doing - Conduct video-based appointments for non-emergency issues. - Treat patients in internal medicine and related areas such as urgent care, gynecology, and obesity care. - Design personalized treatment plans supported by current clinical guidelines. - Record encounters using our efficient EHR tools for accurate follow-up and prescriptions. - Collaborate remotely with other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. - Stay updated on telehealth standards and evolving best practices. Who You Are - MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or OB/GYN. - ABOM certification is a plus. - Licensed in multiple U.S. states (ideally including CA, TX, or IL). - Comfortable using digital platforms and practicing in a fully remote environment. - Excellent communicator who connects easily with patients virtually. Nice to Have - Telemedicine experience or strong interest in virtual care. - Passion for obesity and chronic disease management. - Comfort providing preventive and lifestyle guidance.
