Construction Manager

• Coordinate pre-lease due diligence, site feasibility, design reviews, inter-company coordination, and day-to-day construction activities. • Create project plans, oversee timelines/budgets, conduct site visits, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards. • Lead the GC bid process, review design documents for constructability and cost impacts, manage general contractors and OSI vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance through regular progress meetings. • Prepare and manage project budgets, collaborate with Real Estate, Design, and Finance on accurate forecasting and invoicing, track expenses, review and negotiate change orders, and drive value engineering. • Maintain quality standards through frequent site inspections, own and lead progress meetings, enforce adherence to design intent, address deficiencies, and ensure smooth turnover to Operations with minimal outstanding items.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years managing hospitality/retail/restaurant construction projects and 3+ years overseeing restaurant design with knowledge of health codes and kitchen infrastructure.
  • Strong ability to read/redline construction documents; proficiency with contracts, Google Workspace, MS Office, Bluebeam, and CM tools like Procore or Wrike.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, direct contractors and vendors, and stay current with industry trends, best practices, and detailed project documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable and detail-oriented, with a proactive, upbeat attitude and willingness to travel up to 30%.
