Company : Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: This job performs various 3D imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Manipulates CT and MRI medical images on highly sophisticated 3D workstations and specialized reconstruction software in multiple planes and dimensions for clinical visualization and qualitative analysis of diagnostic and interventional studies, and calculations of volumes as directed. (30%) - Prepares and manages transfer of image data to and from in an accurate and timely manner. (30%) - Collaborates with other professional colleagues and clinicians to be able to respond to clinicians' detailed request for views depicting certain anatomy and/or pathology. (20%) - Provides technical expertise for development of 3D imaging protocols on varied patient populations. (10%) - Performs quality control functions to ensure timely reporting. (10%) - Performs other duties as assigned or required. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum - Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of associate’s degree - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed tomography (CT) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification - 5 years’ experience as a CT Technologist or MRI Technologist with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and imaging equipment - CPR – American Heart Association - Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate - Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate - Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Preferred - 5 years’ experience as a CT or MR technologist at a Level I or II Trauma Center and/or Stroke Center - Experience in volumetric/3D image processing Disclaimer: The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title. Job Description We're seeking a Senior Episodic Care Manager to join our Behavioral Health Team! The Senior Episodic Care Manager - Behavioral Health Autism Services utilizes advanced knowledge and experience in utilization management and medical reviews to perform varied senior-level functions for the department. Drives operational efficiencies, works with internal and external partners for care coordination, and provides input to valuable Utilization Management (UM) initiatives that support the delivery of high quality and cost-effective care across the health care system. What You'll Do - Support member care coordination and departmental goals by performing Perform clinical evaluation and review of various member services for prior authorization or transition of care needs as needed to meet departmental goals - Act as a subject matter expert to support clinical UM staff as first point of contact with process, business, and/or clinical questions. - Serve as point of contact for internal stakeholders to provide expertise on utilization management related to discharge planning, the review of sales documents and benefit booklets, and/or other project/initiative support. - Apply significant expertise in discharge planning and utilization management to expedite the coordination of services and equipment and facilitate safe and effective discharge plans for our members. - Provide precepting support and mentorship to new hires and/or those needing refresher assistance. - Serve as co-trainer for in-services - Create and maintain relevant desktop procedures or process documentation. - Provide system and project testing support as needed. - Support team effectiveness through management of UM queues and work assignments. - May provide coverage for representation on projects in place of leadership as needed due to other priorities.
