Business Development Representative
FreehandFreehand is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of the customers and industries we serve.
Role Description You'll own top-of-funnel for a set of AE territories — finding the right buyers inside complex organizations, earning enough credibility to get them on a call, and handing off pipeline that's genuinely qualified. The buyers we sell to are VP and C-suite supply chain, procurement, and ops finance leaders at global enterprises. They've seen every vendor pitch. What works is relevance — knowing their pain, their category, and why Freehand is worth 30 minutes of their time. You'll be the first person many of our future customers ever hear from. That matters. What You'll Do - Research and map target accounts — identifying procurement, supply chain, and ops finance leaders across F500 and large enterprise companies globally. - Build and execute multi-channel outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and phone — personalized to the account, the persona, and the business problem. - Partner with AEs on account planning, outreach narratives, and multi-stakeholder engagement. - Qualify inbound interest and route it so AEs spend time on conversations worth having. - Use AI tools to research accounts, personalize outreach, and move faster than a traditional BDR ever could — this is expected. Qualifications - 3–5 years in a BDR, SDR, or Outbound role in B2B SaaS or AI or enterprise technology. - You write well — sharp, specific, worth reading. It's the first signal buyers get about Freehand. - Genuinely curious about spend management or enterprise operations — you don't need the background, but you'll learn it fast. - Self-directed: this role sits in India supporting a US team, you manage your own time and metrics. - Comfortable in ambiguity — the playbook is still being written, partly by you. Benefits - Full Health coverage (accidental, life, vision, dental & health consultations). - Monthly home-internet costs. - Flexible working hours. - Complimentary food & snacks at the Chennai HQ. Equal Opportunity Freehand hires on merit — your thinking, your track record, your potential — without regard to race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic. If you meet most of the criteria above but not all of it, apply anyway. We care more about your willingness to learn & take initiative than whether your resume maps perfectly to every line.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities in the European clinical research sector. • Build and manage relationships with CROs, clinical trial sponsors, hospitals, research institutions, and other industry players. • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Oximio’s clinical services, including Importer of Record (IoR), logistics, and depot solutions. • Identify and attend relevant conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings. • Lead proposal development, including pricing, service scope, and negotiation with clients. • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Regulatory, and Legal) to align service capabilities with client needs. • Track sales pipeline, report progress regularly, and meet defined business development targets. • Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments in collaboration with the legal and sales teams. • Analyse client data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of logistics services.
