Job Title: Student Assistant 2 - SENR Department: FAES | School of Environment and Natural Resources-JM Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values. Additional Information: This position will include data collection, analysis, and curriculum module development to create and implement an embedded food systems ethics curriculum to existing nutrition coursework. Student responsibilities will include reviewing current curricula in other disciplines and institutions, studying and recommending new modules for specific existing courses, developing outlines for new course modules for these identified courses, and working with a faculty committee from Ohio State and Central State to co-draft these new course modules. Student will attend weekly check-in meetings for faculty guidance and feedback and to check progress. Student should have prior experience in nutrition coursework with an understanding and interest in food systems and agroecosystems.
