Epic Orders, EHR Business Intelligence Analyst
Meritus Health
• Develop, configure, and support Epic Orders, Bugsy and related EHR applications • Build and maintain operational and project-based reports, dashboards, and databases • Partner with clinical and business teams to understand needs and translate them into Epic functionality • Design workflows, document changes, and ensure data integrity and quality across systems • Provide technical guidance, training, and support for Epic clinical applications • Analyze processes, identify issues, and recommend improvements • Participate in project planning, testing, documentation, and go-live support • Build strong working relationships with clinical, business, and IT stakeholders • Contribute to 24/7 support and ongoing system maintenance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience
- OpTime/Anesthesia/Clarity experience is a plus
- Experience with SQL, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Reporting Workbench, or Clarity preferred
- Background in hospital or medical center clinical systems, IT deployment, or workflow analysis
- Familiarity with clinical software, databases, query languages, and system configuration
- Understanding of physician practice workflows across multiple specialties
- Experience in areas such as CPOE, clinical documentation, inpatient nursing, billing, scheduling, access services, or HIM is highly valued
- Experience with SAS, JMP, or similar statistical tools is a plus
- Epic clinical systems experience strongly preferred
- Epic Orders and Epic Bugsy certification required
- Additional Epic Clarity, Epic OpTime, Bugsy and/or Epic Anesthesia certifications preferred
- if not certified, must complete Epic training and achieve certification (Orders, Bugsy and related modules) within required timelines

PROJECT OVERVIEW Our client, a leading global provider of high-quality food products, including well-known brands and value-added premium products, is seeking a BI Engineer specializing in Qlik Sense to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions supporting sales analytics and enterprise data initiatives. The role focuses on delivering scalable dashboards, data models, and insights that support decision-making across multiple business functions. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL - Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and analytical applications. - Build and optimize data models and visualizations for sales, pricing, product, and demand planning analytics. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into BI solutions. - Integrate data from Snowflake and other enterprise systems into Qlik Sense. - Ensure performance, scalability, and usability of BI solutions. - Follow established coding standards and BI development best practices. - Support data validation, testing, and troubleshooting of reporting issues. - Produce technical documentation and user guidance for BI solutions. - Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Architects to ensure proper data modeling and data flow.
