Acuity Brands is seeking Cloud Infrastructure Engineers with SRE/DevOps experience to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to design, deploy, scale, and maintain highly available architectures and hybrid cloud applications both on Prem with Netapp and Vmware as well as in the cloud with Azure. Our team's focus is on quantifying and improving the availability, reliability, and performance of our products and services. You'll collaborate closely with product development and customer success teams to achieve these goals. Key Responsibilities - As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our IT infrastructure and cloud applications. - Collaborating with engineering teams to characterize, measure, and monitor end-to-end service operations. - Performing proactive service maintenance, problem diagnosis, and incident management. - Leading incident resolution efforts and postmortems. - Designing and implementing monitoring and automation tools. Minimum Requirements - Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Shell. - Expertise in Infrastructure as Code systems like Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform. - A system operations mindset focused on maintaining uptime and addressing disruptions. - Active Directory/Domain management experience - Strong collaboration skills to work with other engineering teams. - Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, C++, or Go. - Familiarity with monitoring systems such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Azure. - Experience with web networking, TLS, reverse proxies, and load balancing. - Extensive troubleshooting and security experience with Linux and Windows systems. - Excellent written communication skills.
