Senior Spatial Designer
Hovercraft
• Collaborate on concepting and ideation to shape the consumer journey and experience. • Develop designs through mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D layouts, and material palettes; rendering skills a plus. • Create environmental graphics, scenic elements, and merchandising details that bring spaces to life. • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure clear communication, quality execution, and smooth delivery. • Present work to clients and teammates, incorporating feedback and occasionally traveling for site visits or installs (1–3x per year).
Job Requirements
- 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar role
- SketchUp as a primary tool
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Rendering skills are a plus
- Strong portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work
- A collaborative team player that is highly motivated, pro-active and positive.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines across multiple projects in a remote work setting.

• Define clear product visions, value propositions and experience principles aligned with client business goals and Impact Studios’ strategic direction. • Connect clients‘ strategic challenges, user needs, AI opportunities, market trends and business objectives into coherent product strategies and roadmaps. • Help clients prioritize where to invest: from AI-enabled MVPs to scaled intelligent platforms. • Plan and run product and design research (qualitative, quantitative, strategic). • Develop personas, journeys, service blueprints, ecosystem maps and AI opportunity maps. • Translate insights into sharp problem statements, product concepts and testable hypotheses. • Create end-to-end product concepts, user flows, interaction models and feature definitions that incorporate AI-powered behaviours. • Design AI-native UX patterns such as copilots, autonomous agents, adaptive UIs, intelligent suggestions and multimodal interactions. • Build wireframes, interaction models and high-fidelity prototypes in collaboration with the UI team. • Produce wireframes, lo-fi & hi-fi prototypes, interaction specifications and micro-interactions. • Define and refine interface logic, flows, IA and interaction patterns. • Ensure that design decisions reflect the product strategy, research evidence and technical constraints. • Work closely with AI, engineering, data and product teams to bring concepts into production day by day functioning as a bridge between product & technical delivery. • Support user story creation, acceptance criteria and backlog refinement. • Facilitate workshops across discovery, prioritisation, design and iteration cycles. • Prototype ideas using tools such as Replit, Lovable, or other Low-Code / No-Code environments. • Drive early validation of AI-based workflows and user interactions. • Support internal teams in accelerating product delivery through rapid experiments. • Champion human-centred, AI-aware product design. • Mentor junior designers in product thinking, AI UX and discovery methods. • Contribute to our Product Studios playbooks, frameworks and methodologies.
