Responsibilities - Handle the review, signing, and client relationship management for engagements of appropriate complexity, while supporting more senior team members on more complex projects. - Provide limited client relationship management tied to assigned engagements, balancing technical accuracy with clear and effective communication. - Act as a technical resource for junior staff on foundational tax concepts while maintaining an active workload of assigned returns. - Contribute to firm integration and process-improvement initiatives as new practices are onboarded. - Familiarity with a wide range of return types, with primary exposure to 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065. - Periodic involvement with 1041, 990s, financial statements, and miscellaneous filings such as 1031 exchanges and FBAR as needed. Requirements - CPA or EA designation preferred. - 4-15 years of public accounting experience with strong technical tax skills. - Proficiency in individual, partnership, and S corporation tax compliance. - High attention to detail and ability to manage a range of return complexities. - Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially in a remote environment.
