Position Summary The video and photography intern reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications for Content and supports the creation and editing of video and photography, creating original content for each of Momentus Capital’s business lines.  The person holding this position is a strong visual storyteller and creator of work that is visually appealing, compelling, emotionally engaging and conveys key messages. This person holding this position can work remotely, with the expectation that a majority of hours will overlap with Eastern Standard Time business hours. This position offers flexibility as either a full-time or part-time temporary role (20–40 hours per week). The internship will run from June 1, 2026, through August 31, 2026.

They will photograph every dance that crosses the stage using the provided stationary Canon DSLR camera. Additional responsibilities include identifying standout performances for the Content Producer to review and share with the Social Media Coordinator. Photographers are also responsible for setting up and managing the event lighting software throughout the competition. Work Samples Required: To be considered, candidates must share a curated portfolio of photography work that highlights relevant experience, creative range, and technical proficiency. Responsibilities of this position include: · Set up photo equipment. · Set up stage lighting. · Capture photos of every dance. · Photograph special moments that occur at our events, such as awards ceremonies and onstage celebrations. · Toggle between lighting cues for when a dance performs, in-between dances, and for award ceremonies. · Provide Content Producer with a list of standout entries for great social media photos. · Possess a basic understanding of shot composition, framing, and color balance to consistently capture visually compelling and well-balanced photos. · Break down photo and lighting equipment after the event has concluded. · Comply with all policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook. · Adhere to all other duties as assigned by event director or designee.
