AbnormalAbnormal AI is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
Role Description At Abnormal AI, our mission is to protect the world’s largest enterprises from advanced email and collaboration attacks. The Threat Narrative team transforms complex signals from our detection systems into clear, actionable stories that help customers understand the attacks we stop and the value of our platform. As a Software Engineer, Fullstack on the Threat Narrative team, you will help build the next generation of email-centric narrative experiences across Email Details and Threat Narrative views, with a focus on clearly communicating Abnormal detections to customers. You will work closely with GenAI and LLM-powered systems that distill thousands of low-level detection features and signals into concise, trustworthy explanations that customers can immediately act on. You will implement full-stack features end-to-end, from backend APIs and data contracts through to performant, intuitive UIs in the customer portal and internal tools that surface these explanations in the right context. Your work will directly shape how customers perceive Abnormal’s detection quality and how they reason about threats at scale. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning well-scoped systems, learning from senior partners, and combining strong engineering fundamentals with product intuition and storytelling. What you will do - Design and implement fullstack features across Threat Narrative and Email Details surfaces, including customer portal components, internal analyst tools, and QBR-facing outputs, with guidance from senior engineers. - Implement and evolve APIs and services that generate enriched narratives from attack data, enrichment signals, and GenAI/LLM agents, following established contracts and patterns. - Contribute to data models and explainability contracts that make complex threat decisions more understandable to customers and internal analysts. - Write high-quality, well-tested Python/Django and React/Typescript code, focusing on correctness, performance, and maintainability. - Participate in owning SLAs/SLOs, observability, and incident response for Threat Narrative and Email Details services by building and improving dashboards, alerts, and runbooks in the areas you own. - Collaborate closely with Product, CS, GTM, Threat Intel, Detection, and DS partners to ensure narrative experiences clearly communicate attack context, value, and outcomes for customers. - Engage in design and code reviews, learn from more senior engineers, and surface opportunities to simplify, derisk, and improve existing systems. Qualifications - 2+ years of professional, production-level software engineering experience, with a track record of shipping and operating fullstack web applications in cloud-native environments. - Proficiency in Python and Django (or a similar backend framework), and comfort working with Postgres or similar relational databases. - Experience building modern frontend applications with React and Typescript, including data-heavy or workflow-centric UIs. - Ability to design and work with well-structured APIs and data models for data-intensive applications, with attention to correctness and evolvability. - Experience using metrics, logging, and tracing to debug production issues and understand user behavior in at least one prior system. - Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working effectively with Product and partner engineering teams to translate requirements into clear technical tasks. - Experience with AI development tools. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Requirements - Experience building or integrating LLM/GenAI-powered features (e.g., prompt design, simple agents, or explainability) in production or pre-production systems. - Familiarity with cybersecurity data, threat intelligence, or detection systems, especially in the context of email and collaboration security. - Exposure to big data and batch processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Kafka) used to power analytics, narratives, or offline enrichment. - Experience collaborating on multi-team initiatives and contributing to shared components, data contracts, or cross-surface UX. Benefits - Actual compensation will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. - In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. - Base salary range: $149,200 — $214,500 USD Company Description Abnormal AI is an equal opportunity employer. Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
Foresite is seeking a product-minded Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a mastery of modern front-end architectures to help build and scale our multi-tenant SaaS platform. As a foundational member of our engineering team, you won’t just write code—you will architect the "humans-first" interfaces that make complex cybersecurity data intuitive and actionable. What You'll Do In this role, you’ll be working on our multi-tenant SaaS platform built with modern web technologies. Your primary focus will be leading the evolution of our front-end ecosystem while maintaining a strong, lateral grip on our backend services. You will ensure our platform remains performant, accessible, and maintainable as we scale. - Architect and build front-end features for our multi-tenant SaaS platform using React.js and TypeScript - Work across the full stack, owning backend integrations and data access patterns end-to-end - Build and maintain a shared component library that scales consistently across our client base - Partner closely with product, design, and backend engineers to ship polished, production-ready features - Integrate with PostgreSQL and NoSQL data stores through clean, well-structured backend service layers - Design, consume, and extend RESTful APIs that power our platform’s core workflows - Champion code quality through thorough reviews and consistent enforcement of engineering standards - Own your deployments—debugging, performance tuning, and keeping production healthy - Drive architectural decisions and contribute to engineering roadmap planning - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, feedback, and code review - Identify and address performance bottlenecks across the front-end and API layers - Apply security-conscious development practices, particularly around auth, RBAC, and data isolation in a multi-tenant context - Engage actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives - Document what you build and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing across the team Who You Are - Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Full Stack development, with a clear specialization in front-end architecture for complex B2B SaaS or Cybersecurity platforms. - The Modern Stack: You are deeply proficient in React 18/19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. You understand component architecture at a deep level — building on primitives like Radix UI and Shadcn/UI to deliver interfaces that are genuinely accessible and performant, not just visually polished. You are comfortable with React Router v7 and modern routing patterns. - Data & Backend: You are comfortable working across both relational and document-based data stores — we use PostgreSQL and Firestore. You feel at home with modern ORMs, preferably Drizzle, and understand schema validation with Zod. You design RESTful APIs that are clean, predictable, and scalable. - Architectural Foresight: You have lived through the complexities of multi-tenant architectures and know how to implement robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) using frameworks like CASL or similar to ensure data isolation and security. - Reliability as a Habit: You write tests as part of the job, not as an afterthought. You are proficient with Vitest and Testing Library for unit and integration coverage, and Playwright for critical E2E flows. - Infrastructure & Observability: You are comfortable within the GCP ecosystem, specifically Firebase/Identity Platform and Cloud Logging. You understand the importance of OpenTelemetry for monitoring production health. - Tooling & Workflow: You care about developer experience. You are comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern workflows like Stacked PRs (Graphite). You embrace AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code to ship faster without sacrificing quality. - Integration Expert: You are comfortable on both sides of a system boundary — consuming third-party APIs on the frontend and writing the backend glue that connects them. You understand API contracts, webhook reliability, and data consistency across services. Nice to Have - You have a background in Cybersecurity, understanding the unique UI/UX and security challenges of the industry. - You have a "Security First" approach to coding, always thinking about the OWASP Top 10. Why Join Foresite? We are a mission-driven partner helping organizations navigate an increasingly complex threat landscape. Founded by security practitioners, we’ve grown into a global leader in SecOps and MDR by staying true to our core value: radical transparency. When you join Foresite, you are part of a "humans-first" culture where your expertise is valued, and your well-being is a priority. We leverage our Google Cloud Premier SecOps Partnership to stay at the cutting edge, but we know that our greatest asset is our people. What We Offer - Comprehensive Health & Wellness: Robust medical insurance options to keep you and your family healthy. - Employer-Covered Insurance: We fully provide employer-paid Dental coverage, as well as Short-Term (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD). - Generous Time Off: We believe in a true work-life balance. You’ll start with 3 weeks of paid vacation, plus additional sick leave and paid company holidays to ensure you have time to recharge. - Growth & Mentorship: Access to world-class training and mentorship. We support your career trajectory, whether you’re looking to deepen your technical skills or move into leadership. - Impactful Work: Help protect global clients using the latest AI-enhanced security tools and GCP native technologies.
