Job Description

Construction Manager

Altium Packaging

• Represent company’s interests by providing oversight for construction and project management requests • Lead project delivery through Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and Operational Excellence standards • Collaborate with Project Manager on pre-construction, procurement, sequencing installation tasks, training, and commissioning • Review and develop constructability plans during investment development • Direct site activities for all construction related to the assigned project • Lead onsite contractors in sequential assignments related to their functional areas • Ensure field coordination with all vendors and site operations • Manage scheduled line downtime and avoid impact to customer requirements • Implement project plan by managing scheduled line downtime • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure ongoing plant changes are documented

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Construction Management, Industrial)
  • Minimum of 5 years project management and/or project engineering experience
  • Experience in directing, leading, and influencing a cross-functional team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
  • Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment
  • Travel up to 80% monthly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Project/Smartsheet
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD
