The Role Voltaiq is seeking an exceptional Frontend/Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team as we build out the future of EBI data visualizations and user experiences. We are open to hiring at the Senior, Staff, or Principal level. You will work with other engineers and product managers to develop next-generation battery analytics software solutions to serve some of the world's biggest companies in automotive, consumer electronics, and battery manufacturing. Responsibilities: Design and develop web applications using Plotly, React, Django, and GraphQL Work with engineering leadership to shape future architectural decisions of Voltaiq’s Frontend Products, mentor team-mates, champion development best practices and keep abreast of new front-end technologies Work closely with the Product Management and Design functions, along with other engineers to understand requirements and design performant solutions Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using React, Python, and GraphQL 2+ years of data visualization experience with tools like Plotly.js, D3.js, or similar Deep experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and Jest Proficient in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with relational database technologies like SQL Experience with containerization technologies like Docker Experience with agile software development methodologies Experience with Git or similar Version Control Systems Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Highly-developed attention to detail, with a drive to deliver intuitive and beautiful solutions to complex analytical workflows Comfortable working in a linux environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or comparable experience A passion for working to help accelerate the global transition to sustainable energy Experience in the battery industry is a plus Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with React Relay Experience developing from Figma or similar design tools Experience with Django Experience with numpy and pandas Experience with generative AI a plus Voltaiq is a remote-first company, and salaries are adjusted for cost of labor in each city. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 + equity, depending on location and experience. • Implement RESTful Web Services using JAX-RS and develop Microservices using Java/J2EE technologies like Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, Maven, and Spring MVC • Deploy Microservices to PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) and Red Hat OpenShift cloud platforms using buildpacks, pipelines, and CI/CD best practices • Implement OAuth2.0 security with Spring Boot apps on PCF/OpenShift • Write JUnit test cases for Microservices to validate REST endpoints and functionality • Implement Kafka producer and consumer applications on a Kafka cluster with ZooKeeper • Use Jenkins and Maven for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) • Investigate issues and defects, perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and implement fixes to improve application reliability

• Define technical architecture and extensibility standards for ABAP development across S/4HANA, ECP, and SAP BTP environments. • Lead the design and governance of clean-core extensions using ABAP objects, Webservices, UI5/Fiori, CDS Views, reports, BAdIs, and enhancements. • Architect and review integration design ECP, S/4HANA, and 3rd party applications. • Serve as the technical lead for ABAP projects, overseeing development quality, code reviews, and performance optimization. • Mentor mid-level developers and collaborate closely with solution architects, integration leads, and functional consultants.

• Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals, focusing on innovation, growth, scalability, and quality. • Drive the architectural design, including dependent services, service interactions, and policies • Simplify and improve the cost/benefit of a function/service/architecture strategy • Experience working with or managing DevOps and technical infrastructure disciplines • Align engineering initiatives with business priorities, ensuring cross functional collaboration with Product and Support teams. • Build, lead, and optimize a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, address technical challenges, and ensure our solutions meet their requirements. • Work closely with product management, customer success, professional services and customer support teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives and client expectations. • Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our software solutions. • Ensure that our solutions adhere to relevant regulatory requirements (SOC2 Type 2) and industry standards, particularly those specific to government and public sector clients.
