Summary: The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for securing prospective clients of our software platforms which may include Learning Management Software (LMS), EventTech, and Video. There may be up to 20% anticipated travel for this position. Duties and Responsibilities: Effectively engage prospective customers to understand their business requirements to deliver cohesive solutions utilizing Cadmium’s services. Generate adequate pipeline to achieve bookings targets Develop and work sales leads using on-site visits, virtual meetings, phone, email, and automated marketing and sales tools. Develop and implement effective sales strategies. Provide potential customers in-person and virtual product demos to demonstrate the value, features, and benefits of Cadmium’s software. Coordinate product demos, potentially using the customers’ own event or course content. Conduct research on prospect and adjust sales presentations and demos to fit their needs. Maintain a strong technical understanding of Cadmium’s products and services. Participate in sales meetings to share data and refine the sales process and messaging. Report on and share sales activities with management. Provide an effective account transition to the Account Management Team. Participate in the development of sales materials such as case studies. Participate in tradeshows and events Up to 20% travel is anticipated in this position Education and/or Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or relevant field; 6+ years’ experience in consultative sales role Participation in formal sales training programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills. Technical aptitude and enthusiasm for web-based applications, learning management systems or continuing education technologies. Must be able to foster relationships and enjoy consultative sales.
