Role Description At Jona, we’re transforming how clinicians and consumers understand and optimize their gut microbiome. Our AI-powered platform decodes complex microbiome data and translates it into actionable insights—supporting better outcomes, stronger immunity, and longer healthspans. We’re looking for a seasoned leader to convey this message to our partners and end consumers. This leader will join our executive team to shape the future of a category-defining health tech company. This role will oversee all aspects of marketing and partnership development—from strategy to execution—across both enterprise and consumer audiences. This is someone who can drive overall brand development, paint a compelling story about why Jona, and also support building deep relationships with every clinical partner. What You’ll Do - Lead the development and execution of Jona’s full-funnel marketing strategy—brand, growth, partnership development and retention—across B2B (clinicians, health systems, employers) and DTC. - Build and scale a high-performing marketing team, starting hands-on and growing with the business. - Drive Jona’s positioning as a trusted, science-led brand that defines a new category in personalized, preventative health. - Oversee core marketing functions, including: - Brand & Messaging: Define and evolve our visual and verbal identity to stand out and build trust. - Growth & Acquisition: Manage paid channels, SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization to drive demand and engagement. - Lifecycle Marketing & CRM: Design and optimize journeys that nurture leads and deepen relationships. - Content & Thought Leadership: Produce educational, clinical, and inspirational content across formats and channels. - Product Marketing: Launch new products and features with clear messaging, positioning, and go-to-market support. - Partner Enablement & Ecosystem Marketing: Create toolkits, co-branded collateral, and referral programs that empower clinical and strategic partners to champion Jona to their own audiences. - PR & Communications: Build our presence across earned, owned, and shared media to elevate Jona’s voice. - Partner closely with Sales to generate pipeline, shorten sales cycles, and bring compelling campaigns to market for strategic buyers. - Develop our DTC growth engine across paid, organic, and referral channels, with a focus on acquisition and retention. - Contribute as a core member of Jona’s leadership team—bringing marketing insight to company strategy and cross-functional collaboration.
