Data Analytics Engineer
Veeam Software
• Design scalable and reliable data marts and transformation processes that support analytics and reporting needs • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions • Develop optimized data models and schemas that enable efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of large datasets • Build ETL and ELT pipelines that transform raw data from multiple sources into structured datasets for analytics and reporting • Partner with data, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of data systems • Monitor data pipelines and systems to troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities for improvement • Document data architectures, data flows, and processes to support transparency, collaboration, and maintainability
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases and data warehouse systems
- Experience building data pipelines and data processes in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing best practices
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

GTM and Analytics Implementation Specialist Department: Analytics Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote Colombia (Bogotá) Description We’re looking for someone great to join our Analytics Team! Your primary task is to help internal and external clients add (complex) tracking and fix issues that arise. You will take extreme amounts of initiative and enthusiasm to get stuff done. You may not know how, but you figure it out by asking the right people, googling, and experimenting. We’re looking for someone who is driven to set things up perfectly, but also practical enough to bake in some redundancy and be able to provide “good enough data” when the perfect set-up is not available. Good problem-solving, can take a technical problem, break it down into manageable chunks, and execute. Will be responsible for communicating with internal and external teams to win buy-in, explain issues, and communicate progress. • Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines supporting daily data transfers between the core application and the Enhanced Reporting Capability (ERC) module. • Perform secure data exchanges using SFTP between internal and external interfacing systems, supporting up to 300 data exchanges annually • Develop, maintain, and automate system interfaces and data transfer processes, including implementation of modern API-based data exchanges • Build reusable processes to connect to multiple data sources across cloud environments and integrate them into the enterprise architecture • Provide data management and governance services, including data ingestion, validation, storage, management, and quality assurance in accordance with Government-approved standards • Create data flow diagrams, perform data standardization, and support enterprise data modeling activities • Manage incoming data streams and develop mechanisms that allow users and applications to modify, access, and extract data efficiently • Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues, and design and implement automated data quality monitoring and control mechanisms • Conduct ongoing data quality analysis, documentation, and reporting to assess overall data health and integrity • Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports, including system metrics and validation checks between system data and interfacing Service systems • Automate data anomaly detection and monitoring to proactively identify inconsistencies or errors • Support database performance optimization, data recovery, and system integrity, including configuration and maintenance of database instances • Modify database structures to support application modernization efforts, including database migrations, conversions, and schema updates • Manage the migration of program updates, database changes, reference data, and configuration changes across the development lifecycle • Generate transaction analysis reports for external interfaces, including data exchange volumes, error rates, and issue tracking • Support enhanced reporting capabilities that enable congressionally mandated reporting, trend analysis, data validation, and ad hoc reporting requests • Develop business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards as requested by the DHRA Data Governance Board and DMDC Data Stewardship Council • Integrate data from additional DoD environments such as Advana and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support enterprise reporting initiatives
