Senior Software Engineer

Role Description Design and build enterprise-critical backend services that act as a centralized data access layer for internal applications company-wide that integrate with major third-party platforms, including FIS, ODS, and Giact Systems. - Architect scalable, reusable, and secure components using modern .NET technologies and cloud-native patterns. - Collaborate with the Architecture team to ensure that all solutions incorporate secure coding practices and address vulnerabilities during development. - Partner with the Load and Penetration Testing teams to validate the performance and resilience of our APIs under various load conditions, helping to ensure system scalability and data protection. - Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests, conduct root cause analysis on production issues, and participate in full-cycle production deployments and validations. - Work closely with QA, UX, product managers, and architects to align technical requirements and delivery timelines. - Identify performance bottlenecks, propose architectural enhancements, and implement tooling or process optimizations that elevate development efficiency and system observability. - Mentor and guide lower team members and offshore developers. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology or a related technology field. - Five years of developing complex applications and enterprise-level integration services to include: - Agile methodology and Scrum teams. - Design and implement APIs using ASP.NET. - C#, Entity Framework, Microsoft Azure, Function Apps, Blob Storage, Queues, and Table Storage. - Develop scalable, cloud-native architecture. - Azure DevOps to create and maintain build and release pipelines, manage deployments, and support release strategies. - Application Insights and Datadog to configure real-time logging, performance monitoring, and diagnostics. - Write optimized queries, data modeling, and performance tuning using SQL Server, Oracle, and Cosmos DB. - REST and SOAP/WCF services for third-party system integration. - Git, Azure Repos, SVN, and IBM ClearCase. - Unit testing, mocking frameworks, and debugging with XUnit, Moq, Fiddler, and SQL Profiler. Pay Range Information The pay range for this position is $134,950.00 - $161,900.00/Yr. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed.
Job Requirements
