Director, New Business Development – Electronics Manufacturing Services
Spartronics
• Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to identify, qualify, and close new OEM customers in Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device, Life Sciences, and Industrial sectors. • Leverage your network and creative prospecting to generate $10M+ qualified opportunities. • Win EMS business across PCBA, SMT, system integration, and full product manufacturing. • Build executive-level relationships that position Spartronics as a trusted, long-term EMS partner. • Represent Spartronics at key industry events, trade shows, and executive meetings. • Collaborate internally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to craft tailored solutions for each client.
Job Requirements
- 10–15+ years of EMS business development experience with a strong record of winning new OEM accounts.
- Deep understanding of EMS capabilities and certifications (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, FDA/QSR, MDSAP, IPC, etc.).
- Experience selling into Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEMs.
- Win complex EMS programs and sell across Spartronics’ full solution portfolio including: PCBA / SMT manufacturing; System integration; Test and validation; Full product lifecycle manufacturing.
- A strategic, disciplined approach to building pipelines, qualifying opportunities, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, tours, and trade shows (passport required).
