Field Data Specialist – Travel Position
ID Plans
• Independently drive or fly to commercial properties to capture precise data • Use 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software to document various aspects of properties • Spend most time gathering data, taking measurements, and inputting data with accuracy • Communicate with property managers for access information regarding appointments and arrival times
Job Requirements
- Experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or any outdoor, detail-oriented fieldwork
- Ability to use your own reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder and long-distance travel
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and climbing ladders up to 30 feet
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in technology (iPads, laptops, mobile apps, photography technology)
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy and care
- Highly organized and self-motivated while working alone
