The Lead Embedded Electrical Engineer will work closely with software, hardware, and product design teams to ensure robust, scalable, and manufacturable solutions. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and innovation-driven, providing exposure to advanced IoT technologies and production-level hardware development. - Lead the design, validation, and debugging of embedded electrical systems and custom PCBAs. - Architect electrical subsystems for IoT and connected devices, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and reliability. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and product design. - Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DMMs for hardware validation and troubleshooting. - Ensure all hardware designs are production-ready and manage interactions with contract manufacturers. - Translate business and product requirements into technical electrical solutions, considering trade-offs and risks. - Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for embedded electrical design. Qualifications - BS in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (MS preferred). - 5+ years of experience in embedded electrical engineering; 7+ years preferred. - Strong experience with PCB design, embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32), and digital communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART). - Knowledge of wireless communication hardware, AC/DC and battery power systems, and low-power embedded design. - Proficiency with hardware design tools such as Altium, PCB mills, and electrical diagnostic equipment. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to convey technical decisions clearly. - Experience taking hardware designs from concept through prototype validation to production readiness. Job Requirements
