Role Description The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacotherapy Clinic by assisting pharmacists with patient communication, follow‑up, and care coordination activities. This role focuses on enhancing patient access to clinical services, supporting medication management processes, and ensuring that patients receive timely monitoring and appropriate follow‑up throughout their therapy. The Technician contributes to safe, efficient, and patient‑centered clinical operations within a non‑dispensing environment. - Conduct routine patient check‑ins to monitor therapy experience, identify concerns, and support adherence to treatment plans. - Assist with initial outreach to confirm therapy start and assess early treatment experience. - Coordinate patient appointments, follow‑up visits, and clinical monitoring schedules. - Support pharmacists by completing delegated tasks such as gathering patient information, preparing charts or notes, and managing task queues. - Track and follow up on required labs or monitoring parameters, ensuring completion and communicating status to the care team. - Prepare and route prescription‑related requests or medication renewals to the pharmacist for review. - Maintain clear and timely documentation in all required systems to support continuity of care. - Facilitate workflow efficiency by organizing patient lists, call queues, and clinical follow‑up tasks. - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to clinic standards, policies, and professional expectations. - Participate in relevant training, team meetings, and process improvement initiatives. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Strong interpersonal communication skills. - Strong phone skills. - Highly proficient in Epic and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. - Able to quickly learn other programs and extract relevant information. - Strong organizational skills. Requirements - State registered as a pharmacy technician. - Nationally certified as a CPhT or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required. - 1+ years of experience required; 5-8 years preferred. - Experience working with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (preferably in a medical clinic) is a plus. - High school diploma or GED required. Benefits - Hourly compensation range of $24.00/hr - $30.00/hr. - Actual compensation depends on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.

MRTs (Coder) are skilled in classifying medical data from patient health records in the hospital setting, and/or physician-based settings, such as physician offices, group practices, multi-specialty clinics, and specialty centers. These coding practitioners analyze and abstract patients' health records, and assign alpha­numeric codes for each diagnosis and procedure.
