Role Description The Aviation Training Analyst serves as the senior aviation subject matter expert responsible for leading analytical efforts that support Army aviation training resource planning and the Flying Hour Program at the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) level. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the Army’s aviation forces have the resources required to train pilots, maintain readiness, and sustain operational capability. This is a remote position. - Lead analytical efforts supporting aviation training resource requirements across the Army. - Serve as the primary aviation subject matter expert within the analytical team. - Provide expertise on the Army Flying Hour Program and aviation training requirements for pilots, crews, and aviation units. - Analyze aviation force structure, operational tempo, and training requirements to support Army readiness objectives. - Ensure aviation data inputs are accurate and properly reflected in Army Training Model applications and analytical tools. - Support HQDA decision-makers by translating aviation operational needs into defensible resource requirements. - Collaborate with analysts, developers, and program leadership to ensure aviation data and assumptions are accurately represented in training resource models. - Assist in the development of analytical products, briefings, and supporting documentation for senior Army leadership. Qualifications - Minimum 10 years of experience supporting Active Component Army aviation training programs. - Thorough knowledge of the Army Aviation Restructuring Initiative (ARI) and aviation force structure. - Demonstrated expertise in individual and collective aviation training requirements for pilots, crews, and aviation units. - Experience supporting or working within the HQDA-level Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. - Strong analytical capability with experience evaluating aviation resource requirements and training programs. - Familiarity with Army training resource modeling tools and related analytical systems. - An active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Education - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Directs and executes multiple, concurrent projects independent of or with little supervision from leadership. • Leads the evaluation of the request for service to understand business and technical open issues to be clarified with the client. • Works in collaboration with the department's client to thoroughly understand the business needs, project scope, and anticipated deliverable associated with the request for service. • Leads the on-going interface with the client to develop analytic approaches to the request. • Understands and executes the development of specific population definitions to meet the needs of the project. • Recommends to the client and department, processes to balance the data needs for the project against the urgency and requirements for action. • Uses statistical techniques to describe and evaluate data and uses process analysis tools for the display, interpretation and presentation of data for management and organization action. • Provides value-added analysis and recommended follow up actions in support of the business needs. • Supports the process to integrate data from multiple sources to a single dataset for analysis. • Leads the review and validation of complex, custom datasets specific to the project. • Recommends and prepares to the client, a method of delivering results from the project to meet current and on-going needs and facilitates data discussion and interpretation. • Develops simple to complex reports utilizing various Business Intelligence tools. • Educates clients in clinical and financial operational concepts and their relationship to data. • Consults with clients to create methods to quantify key elements of their operational performance within the limitations of available data sources. • Guides clients through known and potential data issues, taking into consideration all data collection inconsistencies and inaccuracies in the source system.

• Works with users and leadership to develop and/or modify procedures for workflow changes related to Epic clinical and business applications • Assists users with using the full functionality of the applications • Prepares input for requirements definition including user procedures, flowcharts, and preliminary report and screen definition • Participates in testing, user training, and results evaluation • Maintains product documentation including requirements, functional specifications, installation instructions, product test procedures, troubleshooting guidelines • Communicates project status and upgrades to clinic users

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes • Perform current and future workflow analysis and map out critical business processes using business process reengineering techniques • Prepare documentation for business requirements by using case diagrams, data flow diagrams, data models, and object models • Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate performance of all functions • Provide client and support training through the development of training materials • Communicate project status and upgrades to clinic users • Assist with support and troubleshooting as needed
