Role Description The ARNG/USAR Training Analyst serves as the senior analyst responsible for evaluating and managing training resource requirements for the Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve. This role ensures Reserve Component training policies, force structure, and personnel requirements are accurately reflected in Army training resource models and planning systems. The role provides expertise in Reserve Component training policies—including Active Training (AT) and Inactive Duty Training (IDT)—and works closely with HQDA, the National Guard Bureau, and Army Reserve leadership to support resource planning decisions. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities - Lead analysis supporting Army National Guard and Army Reserve training resource requirements. - Provide subject matter expertise on AT/IDT training policies and Reserve Component force structure. - Evaluate Reserve Component training workloads and resource drivers. - Analyze manpower and manday requirements associated with Reserve Component training. - Coordinate with HQDA, NGB, and USAR stakeholders to validate data inputs and resource assumptions. - Support development of training resource inputs to the PPBE process. - Oversee Manday Analyst efforts related to Reserve Component manpower costing. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience supporting Army National Guard or Army Reserve training resource management. - Demonstrated experience working within the HQDA PPBE process. - Strong knowledge of ARNG force structure and the relationship between NGB, states, and territories. - Knowledge of USAR force structure and Reserve Component training policies. - An active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one. Requirements - 5+ years of experience analyzing and costing Reserve Component mandays. - Knowledge of Reserve Component manpower costing and training requirements. Education - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
