Role Description As a Data Scientist at MVP, you will be a part of the growing data science team developing solutions for problem solving client-related issues. You will also work on machine learning solutions for all platforms across the organization utilizing Python, R, Excel and other programs as needed. You will also be working with research and development to research and create forward-facing solutions to help drive client success. The Data Scientists will work directly with the data science, insights and engineering teams to develop and execute products, services, and solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires detailed statistical analyses as well as finding better ways to clean and structure data. For this job you will be involved in extensive research, development, and testing while carefully crafting the methodologies used. This position requires both strong analytical skills and creative thinking. You must be self-motivated, have a drive to succeed while making MVP better, and most of all be curious about data. On the very first day you will be partnered with a mentor or team of mentors to help guide and transition you into our company. This is a fast-paced job and only individuals who love data and finding solutions will succeed. This position is remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Greater Austin Area to support occasional in-person collaboration. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
