Qualifications - 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications. - Strong experience developing cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure, particularly serverless or event-driven architectures using services such as Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Azure Storage. - Proficiency in C# / .NET for backend service development. - Experience designing and implementing distributed or event-driven systems. - Experience building and operating production systems in Azure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Demonstrated experience leading the design and implementation of complex software systems while remaining hands-on in development. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment. - Prepared to discuss specific Azure services implemented in production, the architecture of systems built, and how those systems were monitored and operated. - Demonstrable experience building production cloud systems beyond tutorials, coursework, or certification labs. Preferred Experience - Experience building or contributing to multi-tenant SaaS platforms. - Experience integrating Azure AI services or other cloud-based AI APIs. - Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tooling. - Experience working in security-focused or regulated environments. - Experience rapidly prototyping solutions in R&D or innovation environments.
