Data Migration Developer

DysrupIT

• Design, build, and execute data migrations into and across Microsoft Dataverse environments (required) • Perform document and data migrations from document management platforms, including SharePoint to SharePoint and other DMS solutions • Conduct source-to-target data mapping, transformation, and migration planning • Build and maintain ETL packages using SSIS or reputable third-party migration/ETL tools • Implement data cleansing activities, including: Data format standardisation and transformation • Validation and correction of inconsistent, incomplete, or inaccurate data • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and post-migration checks to ensure data integrity and completeness • Utilize Azure data migration tools, including Azure Data Factory and related services, to support scalable migration solutions • Execute dry runs, testing, and final migrations, resolving migration issues and data discrepancies • Ensure migrations are delivered with minimal business disruption, adhering to agreed timelines and quality standards • Produce migration documentation, runbooks, and validation reports as required

Job Requirements

  • Proven, hands-on experience migrating data into and between Microsoft Dataverse environments (absolute must-have)
  • Strong experience migrating data and documents from SharePoint and other document management platforms
  • Solid background in data cleansing, transformation, and validation
  • Hands-on experience developing ETL solutions using SSIS or reputable third-party migration tools
  • Experience with Azure-based data migration tools, particularly Azure Data Factory
  • Strong understanding of data reconciliation, validation frameworks, and quality assurance
  • Ability to design robust and scalable migration solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple migration activities simultaneously
