Own and drive the relationships with our WEM partners, including strategic direction, alignment with internal stakeholders, key input to pricing, contracts and amendments. Accelerate and increase conversion of partner-influenced opportunities—especially WEM and Select ISVs—by orchestrating late-stage execution without taking primary deal ownership from Sales. Reporting & Scope: Reports to VP, Strategic Partner Alliances. Global remit with initial North America focus. Supports Power of 3 tri-plays as needed. Key Outcomes & KPIs: - Influenced ACV closed - Win-rate uplift vs baseline - Cycle-time reduction (Stage 3→Close) - New logo count from partner-sourced pipeline - Timely turn around on contract amendments and pricing adjustments Core Responsibilities: - Run weekly Deal Desk clinics - Build/coach Mutual Close Plans - Exec mapping and joint checkpoints - Align commercial terms and contacts (discounts, royalties, SPIFFs) with Ops/Legal - Deliver late-stage enablement if needed - Maintain partner-influenced forecast & dashboard - Conduct post-mortems/op reviews Cadence & SLAs: - Weekly clinics + top-deal reviews and win/loss readout - Quarterly ACV review by partner - Partner influence AI attach Interfaces & RACI: - AE/ESD (Accountable) owns strategy and close - PSA Director (Responsible/Assist) orchestrates partner and close - Exec mapping - Partner actions - Alliances Leads & Ops/Legal (Consulted) - Partners (Responsible for their actions/Informed). Requirements: - 12+ years enterprise SaaS sales/overlays - Expert in late-stage mechanics - Metrics-driven - Strong cross-functional communication - Comfortable with coopetition dynamics. Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in our San Ramon office. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. Business Development Representative Your Mission As a Business Development Representative at Open Systems, you will be the driving force behind generating new business opportunities within the US and EMEA mid-market segment (500 to 25,000 users).
