Right of Way Agent
Steigerwaldt Land Services, Inc.
• Support right-of-way acquisition, land leasing, permitting, and construction support • Establish trust and build long-term positive relationships between clients and landowners • Negotiate and secure easements, leases, licenses, permits, and ordinances • Coordinate meetings with landowners and project stakeholders • Provide regular status reports to project managers on land acquisition tasks • Prepare all necessary agreement documents and/or permitting forms • Represent the company at public meetings before governmental agencies
Job Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in reviewing title work and land acquisition
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal statutory requirements for land acquisitions
- Ability to work independently in varied and remote settings
- Licensed Wisconsin & Minnesota Real Estate Agent (or willingness to get licensed)
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office software
- Understanding of ArcGIS software and Google Earth
- Ability to prioritize and organize work in order to meet project deadlines
- Current valid driver’s license with personal vehicle suitable for field work
