• Design and advance durable financial solutions that support Indigenous Peoples and local communities (IPLCs). • Lead WWF’s strategy to mobilize, structure, and advise stakeholders on finance that strengthens community-led bioeconomy enterprises. • Pilot, evaluate, and refine innovative community finance models. • Build and steward relationships with Indigenous leaders and community organizations. • Mobilize catalytic capital to test and scale community finance models. • Lead feasibility assessments and enabling conditions analyses. • Support negotiation and closing of financing arrangements with governments and NGOs.
• Oversees the Science program for WWF’s Great Plains Program. • Manage a high performing team of 2-4 staff members, facilitating good communication and collaboration. • Works with Science team in developing, implementing and evaluating strategies, priorities, budgets, and timelines. • Develop, build, and maintain partnerships within the science community for grassland conservation goals. • Coordinate with WWF Policy & Government Affairs, and external partners to advocate policies for grassland conservation. • Serves as part of GP’s leadership team to improve existing conservation projects and build team cohesiveness. • Lead fundraising efforts for program goals and objectives, and engage with funders as necessary.
• Manage and support WWF’s Azure infrastructure, including provisioning new subscriptions, resources, and roles to support organizational programs and initiatives. • Ensure the stability, resiliency, and robust protection of all cloud-based systems within WWF. • Develop, modify, review, and execute system backup strategies for all WWF platforms. • Analyze, establish, and troubleshoot network connectivity across Azure resources, VNETs, sites, and tenants. • Maintain, configure, and optimize WWF’s Azure environment. • Administer a variety of Azure virtual machines, including Windows domain controllers, IIS servers, SQL database servers, miscellaneous Windows servers, Red Hat Enterprise VMs, and redundant virtual firewalls in both production and staging environments. • Create, update, and provide support for Azure Enterprise Apps for Single Sign-On and AZ Proxy. • Manage DNS services within Azure and Cloudflare. • Develop and maintain WWF’s High Availability and Disaster Recovery playbook to ensure continuous operational integrity and swift response during incidents. • Serve as an escalation point for complex issues related to Azure, Entra ID, RBAC, and Microsoft 365 for the WWF Network Services team. • Regularly update and patch systems to align with security requirements and best practices. • Perform work duties after-hours, on weekends, or holidays as needed from time to time because of unexpected critical outages or issues and planned maintenance windows. • Perform other duties as assigned.
