Role Description We are looking for a Power BI Specialist with strong experience in data modelling, semantic model optimisation, and enterprise report development. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design scalable dashboards, optimise Power BI solutions, and automate reporting processes that support data-driven decision-making across the organisation. - Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI - Perform ETL using Power Query (M) and Dataflows Gen2, and create measures using DAX - Connect and transform data from multiple sources (SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft Fabric, etc.) - Design dimensional (star schema) data models for scalable and performant reporting - Diagnose and optimise refresh performance, including model size, cardinality, and VertiPaq compression - Manage deployment pipelines and version control (Git) for Power BI Service - Optimize performance of reports and manage data refresh schedules - Collaborate with users to identify KPIs and reporting needs - Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS), and follow governance standards - Document data models and semantic models, and support end-user training Qualifications - 4–7 years of Power BI development experience - Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and dimensional data modelling - Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases - Experience with Power BI Service, gateways, deployment pipelines, and workspace management - Strong communication and problem-solving skills Requirements - Microsoft Certification in Power BI (PL-300 or equivalent) - Microsoft Certification in Fabric Analytics Engineer (DP-600) or Fabric Data Engineer (DP-700) - Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or other cloud data platforms Next Steps If you're ready to embark on an exciting journey with WiiGroup, we encourage you to submit an application or submit your CV to careers@wiigroup.com . Role Description We are hiring a Business Intelligence Lead (Remote – Ireland) to drive data and analytics strategy across our European client portfolio. You will lead the design and delivery of scalable BI solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across complex capital projects.
