Role Description We’re looking for a highly driven, results-oriented Digital Sales Account Executive to join our growing Direct Sales team. The ideal candidate is a hunter-style seller with a proven track record of identifying, pitching, and closing brand partnerships — someone who thrives on proactive outreach and creative problem solving. You will play a key role in helping global and U.S. brands engage Gen-Z audiences through Wattpad’s creator ecosystem, content IPs, and media inventory — driving impact from brand awareness to conversion through innovative, full-funnel marketing campaigns. What You’ll Do: - Identify and prospect new business opportunities with brand and agency partners across major verticals (Focus on Tech, Telco & Gaming). - Develop and pitch strategic media and branded content proposals leveraging Wattpad’s unique creator ecosystem and storytelling formats. - Lead proactive outreach to clients — from cold introductions to tailored follow-up and deal closure. - Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Client Success, Ad Ops, B2B Marketing, Creator Partnerships, etc.) to execute successful campaigns. - Translate client objectives into actionable full-funnel marketing strategies, delivering measurable ROI. - Maintain and expand a strong network within the U.S. advertising and media ecosystem. - Report on sales pipeline, forecast accuracy, and campaign performance. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background. - 5+ years of experience in digital media sales, brand partnerships, or integrated marketing (preferably at a publisher, media platform, or creative agency). - Proven ability to independently prospect and close deals with direct clients and agencies. - Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and selling creative marketing solutions beyond standard media buys. - Strong understanding of digital storytelling, fandom culture, and the web-novel ecosystem. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - Self-motivated, resilient, and passionate about achieving ambitious sales goals. - A strong network across U.S. brands and agencies is highly preferred.
