• Maintain cluster-level oversight of thematic quality assurance for EBM integration, implementation and scaling by partners, ensuring high-quality delivery of EBMs. • Coordinate thematic support provided by Specialists within a cluster, ensuring prioritization, and advising on resource allocation. • Ensure operationalization of thematic and EBM guidance and standards, to guarantee contextual relevance to tailored support to countries and partners. • Lead and/or facilitate adaptive learning cycles for EBMs at cluster level, ensuring learning agendas are developed and executed, lessons learned are documented and findings inform practice and strategic direction. • Strengthen organisational and partner capacity in MHPSS EBMs, through training, mentoring and scalable learning approaches. • Represent and build up the profile and reputation of War Child's EBM Care System Portfolio and thematic expertise externally in the appropriate fora, strengthening sector engagement, inter agency collaboration and organisational credibility, and contributing to shaping policy and sector discourse. • Contribute to the learning agenda for EBMs within your portfolio including gather and sharing learnings on partner experiences and feedback.
• Conduct analysis of War Child’s current safeguarding arrangements for Fundraising Member countries • Identify gaps, risks, and strengths in safeguarding • Provide actionable recommendations for safeguarding effectiveness and compliance • Assess current reporting processes and ensure they align with regulations • Produce deliverables including Inception Report and Safeguarding Gap and Needs Analysis Report
• Lead or significantly contribute to organisational system improvement initiatives, transformation programmes, and cross-functional system implementation efforts from a finance and business systems perspective. • Responsible for the functional ownership, administration, and continuous improvement of finance systems and finance-related components across business systems. • Work closely with Finance, IT, system owners, and operational stakeholders to shape and strengthen finance and business system environments, ensuring that systems, controls, data structures, and user practices effectively support organisational processes, reporting, governance, and decision-making. • Act as the functional lead and organisational focal point for finance systems and finance-related components across business systems. • Administer and oversee the effective operation of finance systems (eg Unit4). • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of finance system architecture and data structures, including chart of accounts, cost centres, and project and grant frameworks. • Ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of financial data across systems. • Provide functional leadership and oversight on finance and control-related aspects of other business systems. • Lead cross-functional coordination with IT, HR, Procurement, Legal, and other stakeholders to define, implement, and strengthen system controls, user access governance, data structures, and finance-related system requirements across organisational systems. • Maintain documentation of system structures, processes, and user guidance. • Identify and drive improvements in system structures, data management, and processes, enhancing efficiency, usability, and alignment with organisational needs.
