Regional Account Executive

• Reporting to the Director of Architectural Sales, the Regional Account Executive will be responsible for exceeding sales targets, reducing controllable returns and allowances, improving the company close ratio, and working to maintain contribution margins. • Prospecting and business development activities will be a daily focus in order to gain more market share. • Educate customers on the benefits of choosing Wagner with ease and confidence. • Generate sufficient monthly quoting activity to support sales targets. • Establish, sustain, and grow a customer base that is in keeping with the company’s marketing and product objectives. • Prepare and submit periodic reports on activities, sales volume, sales forecasts, expenses, etc.
• Develop and grow relationships with architects, contractors, distributors, and key decision-makers • Prospect for new business and identify project opportunities within your territory • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations • Generate quotations and work with internal teams to develop winning proposals • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve territory sales goals • Represent Wagner at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings • Collaborate with Customer Service, Estimating, Engineering, and Operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities
