Job DetailsTitle: Director of Product Management Classification: Exempt / Full-Time Organizational Relationship: Reports to Vice President, Product Management Direct Reports: Product Managers Classification: Exempt Location Considerations: Strong preference for candidates residing in Georgia, Utah, Wisconsin, or Indiana #LI-Remote GENERAL SUMMARY The Director of Product Management is a customer-centric, hands-on product leader responsible for executing the roadmap across Vyne Medical's product portfolio, including Trace, HealthyData, LabDE, and ARC. Vyne Medical builds healthcare workflow automation and intelligent document processing software that helps hospital teams in Patient Access and HIM reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and streamline communications. This role owns the full product lifecycle - from market problem identification and business case development through delivery and go-to-market execution - and measures success by outcomes delivered: reduced manual work for hospital teams, faster time-to-value for health system customers, and product capabilities that earn and retain customer loyalty. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Product Strategy & Discovery Proactively engage customers and prospects through structured interviews, site visits, and feedback programs to develop deep understanding of market problems, not just product feedback. Develop business cases for new investments, quantifying market opportunity, revenue impact, and cost-to-build tradeoffs; contribute input to pricing and packaging decisions. Define target markets and segments, research competitor products, and maintain competitive evaluations to keep the roadmap grounded in market reality. Contribute data-driven input on portfolio-level decisions, including prioritization tradeoffs and product sunset recommendations. Roadmap Execution & Delivery Partner with the VP of Product to translate strategic initiatives into well-defined, prioritized roadmaps across Trace, HealthyData, LabDE, and ARC. Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Operations to ensure features are well-scoped, properly sequenced, and launched successfully. Write clear product requirements and acceptance criteria; collaborate with engineering during backlog refinement and sprint planning to maintain delivery momentum. Make sound scope decisions that balance speed, quality, and user experience - keeping commitments without accumulating unsustainable product or technical debt. AI & Innovation Actively use AI-assisted tools in day-to-day product work - writing specs, prototyping concepts, and accelerating discovery - and model that behavior for the broader team. Partner with Engineering to identify and scope AI/ML capabilities within existing and new products, evaluating accuracy, reliability, and audit-ability with particular attention to PHI and HIPAA requirements. Stay current on AI tooling and bring relevant new capabilities to the team as an informed, enthusiastic practitioner who actively contributes to Vyne Medical's AI adoption. Team & Stakeholder Leadership Manage and mentor Product Managers, providing regular feedback and coaching that builds product craft, confidence, and ownership. Present roadmap updates, product strategy, and recommendations to senior executives, Sales teams, and customers with clarity and confidence. Serve as a reliable partner to Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders, surfacing blockers early and maintaining alignment throughout delivery. May mentor, train, and coach others across the broader product and business organization. Other duties as assigned.
