Role Description We are looking to recruit a Media & Stakeholder Relations Manager to lead Viridor’s media activity, social media presence and stakeholder communications, strengthening our reputation nationally and within the communities where we operate. In this role, you would be responsible for: - Leading media engagement; delivering proactive campaigns and managing reactive press handling - Managing reputational issues; responding quickly to enquiries and negative or inaccurate coverage - Owning our social media channels; planning, writing and publishing content aligned to external priorities - Driving high-quality content; stories, video and leadership visibility that strengthen our narrative - Coordinating with external agencies; ensuring clear direction and consistent messaging - Supporting local PR around sites; improving sentiment in host communities through strong storytelling - Providing senior leadership media support; preparing briefings, messaging and lines to take Requirements Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 Location: Home‑based with UK‑wide travel Benefits What can we offer you? - We invest in our people to reward them for their hard work - A host of company benefits available to you when you join Company Description We are a Great Place to Work.
