At Vantage Point Consulting, we partner with colleges and universities to ensure military-affiliated learners receive the support they need to succeed. Our CORE Shared Services team is growing, and we’re looking for a Higher Education Solutions Consultant who thrives on client interaction, enjoys research, and brings experience in higher education to the table. What You’ll Do - Serve as a strategic advisor to higher education institutions that support military-connected students, providing guidance on policies, processes, and best practices, including Military Tuition Assistance. - Partner with military-serving colleges and universities to strengthen the full student lifecycle, from outreach and enrollment through retention, completion, and post-graduation outcomes. - Guide institutions in aligning academic programs, student services, and support models to meet the unique needs of Service members and optimize student success. - Provide insight and recommendations to support Service members in informed decision-making related to degree pathways, career alignment, and academic progression. - Lead the development and dissemination of clear, scalable guidance and resources that enhance institutional effectiveness and improve the Service member experience. - Shape and deliver strategic communications, including executive-level messaging, webinars, and stakeholder updates, to drive awareness, alignment, and engagement. - Oversee the integrity and continuous improvement of information platforms, ensuring content remains accurate, relevant, and responsive to stakeholder needs. - Analyze and address institutional challenges, including those related to Military Tuition Assistance, and recommend solutions that improve processes and outcomes. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify trends, inform strategy, and drive continuous improvement in support of military-connected student success. What We’re Looking For - Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required; prior work in higher education (Admissions, Advisement, Career Services, Veterans Office, or Financial Aid preferred). - Military Affiliation: Veteran, military spouse or dependent preferred. - Skills: Strong communication, compliance, and problem-solving abilities; comfort with public speaking; knowledge of higher education systems. - Tools You’ll Use: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, MS Teams, Salesforce, Canva, and Mighty Networks. - Personal Strengths: Client-focused, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn and grow with a supportive team.
