As a Uwill Counselor you will be offering teletherapy sessions by video, phone, or chat message to students at our partner institutions. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling. - Manage an on-going caseload of clients from initial session to graduation from care. - Conduct video, telephone, or chat sessions with students. - Utilize evidence-based practices and SMART goals tailored to student needs. - Practice culturally competent care to meet the needs of a diverse client base including but not limited to: - First-time therapy seekers - BIPOC students - LGBTQ+ students - First-generation students - Veterans - Athletes - Adhere to the risk assessment and management process of Uwill, including assessing for risk during the initial session with a student and as needed thereafter. - Complete session notes within time frame expectations. - Respond to student messages in a timely manner. Qualifications - Bilingual and able to provide sessions in Korean. - An independent license to practice mental health therapy without supervision in Texas (Ex. LPC, LCSW, LMFT or PsyD). - Master’s degree in a relevant field. - 2 years of experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting using a variety of modalities. - Professional liability insurance. - HIPAA compliant professional and secure location to perform sessions. - Ability to provide sessions via Zoom on a computer or device that has a camera and microphone.
