Title: Administrative Specialist CL2: Rockland Center Location: Rockland United States Part time Bargaining Unit: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking applicants for the part-time position of Administrative Specialist Career Level 2 (CL2) for the UMA Rockland Center. The CL2 will work thirty hours per week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Serve as the initial point of contact for students and community members - Provide excellent customer service and support - Assist students with class registration, account inquiries, general financial aid questions, etc. - Troubleshoot technical issues - Create documents using Microsoft Office and Excel - Process confidential information - Schedule and administer student exams - Perform tasks related to accounting and basic bookkeeping - Assist with Student Association activities and event planning - Close the Office and Center; maintain the Center environment Work Schedule: During the Fall and Spring semesters, the schedule will typically be Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. During the Summer semester and breaks, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional additional weekend or evening hours may be required for special events. Wage: $20.39 per hour for a new hire or the applicable transfer rate for a current University of Maine System employee in accordance with the ACSUM collective bargaining agreement. Title: Administrative Specialist CL2- YourPace Enrollment (Remote or Hybrid Option) Location: Presque Isle United States Job Description: JobID: 2789 Category: Administrative Support JobSchedule: Full time JobShift: Bargaining Unit: The University of Maine at Presque Isle seeks an Administrative Specialist (CL2)- YourPace Enrollment to provide enrollment and registration support for YourPace students, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant course enrollment and student record management. The role monitors enrollment activity, degree progress, and eligibility for course additions, while maintaining MaineStreet and degree audit accuracy and supporting student success through coordination with Academic Success Coaches and campus partners. This is a full-time position with a fixed schedule of Thursday through Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., designed to ensure consistent and timely processing of enrollment requests and student support needs. Remote or hybrid work is available; however, a dedicated, private remote workspace is required. The workspace must support confidential conversations, comply with FERPA requirements, and be large enough to accommodate a full workstation setup, including two monitors and docking equipment. Occasional travel may be required for training, meetings, or events. This is a part-time, temporary position at 20 hours a week. This position supports the Acadian Archives by providing front-line visitor services, assisting patrons with research, assisting with public events and digitization projects. Essential Duties: - Provide support in the daily operations of the Archives including but not limited to scheduling, telephone screening, greeting visitors and patrons. - Conduct and assist patrons with research in history, culture, genealogy, and others. - Provide tours for visitors and guests. - Assist with organization of public events. - Respond to digital inquiries sent to office email. - Support the preservation of collections through digitization projects.
