Role Description This is a full-time job suitable for passionate professionals who want to work for a leading European Insurance Group on a very flexible work schedule. You will work as part of a multinational group with true, large, enterprise-wide systems, complex architectures and real-life constraints (speed, performance, non-stop systems availability) and are going to be part of an agile team aimed at designing and implementing enterprise level solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the continuity, stability, and further development of the POS Database Services, a core backend component supporting the main UNIQA Sales application. Contract duration: Undetermined Schedule: Full-time (8 hrs/day, Monday to Friday) Your responsibilities: - Understand, adapt and work within the UNIQA Delivery Model - Take ownership of the responsibilities assigned to the Business Analyst - Execute functional and technical business analysis activities for POS DB Services. - Understand, document, and continuously enhance data models, service logic, and integrations with adjacent CRM and sales systems. - Collaborate closely with Sales IT, CRM, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end system functionality. - Analyze incidents and change requests, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with development teams. - Support knowledge transition by actively acquiring, consolidating, and documenting system and process know‑how from existing experts - Ensure stable system operations and proactively identify opportunities for optimization, modernization, and improved performance. Qualifications - University degree (Bachelor/Master) in IT, Economics or other relevant studies - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT Business Analysis / Requirements Engineering - Strong proficiency in SQL - Capable of delivering optimized solutions based on the clients’ needs - Good communication and presentation skills - Effective team-worker in a corporate environment, fostering collaboration within the team - Active involvement in team activities/decisions - Capable of analytical and solution-oriented thinking - High attention to details - Structured, organized working style, with an ambition to deliver quality results in limited time - Constantly driven for improvement - Fluent in English (both spoken and written). Requirements - Fluent in German (both spoken and written) - Basic understanding of text mark-up languages (xml, html...) - Basic knowledge of business architecture and analysis methodologies - Experience in using JIRA and Confluence - Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Safe) - Experience in the Insurance field.
