• Oversee the entire data pipeline from instrumentation to presentation • Work directly with departments and senior leadership to decide what to gather and how to analyze it • Identify KPIs around engagement, retention, and churn, and design pipelines to collect them • Own the databases: schema, performance, health • Be hands-on with the ETL pipelines and the infrastructure supporting it • Automate reporting and create dashboards for a variety of audiences • Play the game
• Lead the VFX team: maintain consistency across the department providing direction and feedback, ensuring all team members understand their role in the department and know what is expected of them • Lead team meetings and relay important studio information when required • Work closely with department manager to provide mentorship and coaching for VFX team members including but not limited to: 1:1s, career development, performance evaluations, and goal setting • Guide the creative process; drive the concept process for game effects • Bring in-progress and prototype effects to completion • Work with the Art Directors and art teams to ensure artistic unity across the game • Create real-time visual effects to enhance environments, characters, and combat • Work with designers, engineers, and other artists in creating strong moment-to-moment gameplay • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that assets fall within set parameters in regards to performance, best practices, and art style • Playtest with both the studio and the VFX team to review and iterate VFX
• Own assigned UI features from concept through final in-game implementation, driving visual quality and polish throughout development • Create high-quality UI art, including HUDs, menus, icons, motion graphics, and supporting visual elements • Define and champion visual solutions that align with the game's artistic direction and player experience goals • Implement, review, polish and iterate UI assets directly in Unreal Engine 5 (UMG), validating readability, animation and final presentation quality • Proactively identify opportunities to improve visual quality, hierarchy, usability, consistency and player experience • Partner closely with UI Tech Art and Engineering to integrate assets, support animation and motion and resolve implementation challenges • Drive visual consistency across features by maintaining style guides, asset libraries and established UI patterns • Deliver work that reaches a shippable quality bar with strong self review, attention to detail and minimal corrective feedback • Balance visual quality, technical constraints and production realities • Mentor other UI artists through feedback, collaboration, and best practices • Participate in playtests and iteration cycles to improve usability and visual quality
• Take ownership of high level initiatives and work with all departments to complete goals. • Own and maintain the UI roadmap and the UI backlog, ensuring progress or changes are communicated across various channels. • In partnership with the UI Design, Art, and Engineering Leads, conduct milestone planning, task and bug prioritizations to ensure the team is working on the right things at the right time. • Work with other Producers to plan and schedule work across teams for features led and supported by UI. • Work with UI leads and team to create estimated tasks for work and follow the work through its lifecycle, unblocking as needed along the way. • Manage change requests, both at the stakeholder and team level. Negotiate compromises and propose solutions to get the project’s needs met. • Keep stakeholders apprised of feature production status (leading regular feature review meetings, weekly team syncs, stakeholder syncs). • Maintain and improve team processes (kick-offs, planning, stand ups, triages) to ensure work is asked for, created, and completed in a predictable manner. • Maintain and improve feature pipeline and team workflows. • Proactively identify production problems, establish facts, and propose solutions. • Ensure meetings are productive, noted, and that actions captured are followed up on. • Be the reliable, stable source of information, support, and engagement that our team counts on to thrive. • Playtest with the studio and UI team to iterate based on playtest feedback and player experience.

Role Description We are looking for a Senior Community Manager to be the voice and face of our community — someone who is just as comfortable jumping into Discord to chat with players as they are hosting a livestream with our developers. As the Senior Community Manager, you will help shape the connection between our studio and the players across the globe who make our worlds come alive. To be successful in the role, you are an individual who thrives on authentic communication, loves great games, and understands how to turn community feedback into action that improves the player experience. This position will report to the Head of Marketing. Responsibilities - Champion our global community: Be the daily link between our players and our development team — building trust, excitement, and open dialogue across all platforms. - Lead global community management efforts to connect players across regions and keep them engaged with our worlds and development updates. - Be on-camera and in-stream: Represent Turtle Rock Studios in developer streams, community updates, and social content with authenticity and enthusiasm. - Own social channels: Manage and grow our presence across Reddit, Discord, X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. - Create compelling, on-brand content: Write and produce posts and updates that reflect the studio’s personality and resonate with our players while interfacing with creative services and multimedia personnel. - Engage players around live titles: Plan and execute international communication strategies for patches, updates, events, and new content drops. - Monitor sentiment and trends: Use third-party tools to track engagement, player feedback, and community health, turning insights into actionable recommendations. - Collaborate with teams across the studio to ensure unified messaging, bring player insights to the forefront, and celebrate the great work happening here at Turtle Rock Studios. - Support game capture and content: Help capture gameplay, screenshots, and behind-the-scenes content for community and promotional use. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience managing communities for live or shipped games, ideally experienced working in or around AAA development pipelines. - Deep understanding of community management best practices and player engagement. - Confident, natural on-camera presence — you enjoy connecting directly with players through streams and videos. - Hands-on experience creating social and community content in an established brand or product voice. - Proficiency with monitoring, analytics, and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout, Brandwatch, Meltwater, Discord insights). - Strong written and verbal communication skills — approachable, clear, and authentic. - A savvy gamer capable of playing well with an eye for gameplay moments, community stories, and emerging social trends. - Collaborative, positive, and comfortable working across departments to bring the community perspective into every decision.
