Role Description The Director of Distribution is accountable for owning and optimizing channel strategy, rate integrity, and connectivity across all electronic distribution platforms, including Marriott distribution systems. The role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Operations to drive visibility, demand, and net revenue performance while ensuring rate parity, brand standards, and platform compliance, and reports to the Vice President of Revenue Management. - Own and execute each hotel’s distribution strategy across direct, OTA, GDS, wholesale, and Marriott distribution platforms - Manage rate loading, availability, restrictions, and inventory controls across all systems - Ensure compliance with Marriott distribution standards and brand requirements where applicable - Lead rate parity control and channel integrity - Monitor and resolve rate parity issues across all channels - Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement immediate corrective actions with internal teams and partners while establishing processes to mitigate future discrepancies - Manage channel performance and expansion - Analyze and report production, cost of sale, conversion, and contribution by channel - Evaluate, onboard, and optimize new distribution partners and connectivity opportunities - Oversee content, merchandising, and channel readiness - Ensure room types, packages, add-ons, images, and descriptions are accurate and aligned across channels - Partner and align with Marketing on promotions, campaigns, and digital merchandising strategies - Serve as the distribution systems and connectivity expert - Act as primary owner for Synxis, channel manager, Marriott systems, and distribution-related tools - Coordinate testing, launches, and ongoing optimization of new integrations and features Qualifications - Experience in hotel distribution, revenue management, or eCommerce within a hotel or hospitality environment - Working knowledge of Synxis, channel managers, OTAs, and Marriott distribution platforms - Demonstrated experience managing rate parity and channel compliance - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret channel and performance data - Experience supporting multi-property or portfolio environments preferred - Experience onboarding new distribution partners or managing connectivity integrations preferred

The West Coast Director of Revenue Management is responsible for overseeing the revenue management strategies of our West Coast hotel portfolio, ensuring that the portfolio is fully maximizing its room revenue, occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR potential. This role reports directly to the Corporate Director of Revenue Management. Develop and execute revenue management strategies for the assigned hotel portfolio to maximize RevPAR, RevPAR index, and profitability for each hotel. Work with operations and sales teams to develop marketing and promotional strategies that assist in boosting hotel revenue performance. Ability to work through performance reporting and communicate STR performance to both the property and corporate teams. Manage all booking channels, including third-party OTA channels, to optimize channel mix between direct bookings, OTAs, and other third-party booking engines, ensuring that those channels have the most up-to-date content, promotions, and marketing material advertised. Oversee rate strategies and own discount strategies that align with market dynamics and performance. Work with property sales leaders on group pricing, reporting and assist with monthly outputs. Implement and effectively communicate current revenue strategies to on-site and above property teams. Provide guidance to property General Managers and leaders on rate and inventory strategies so they understand the direction of strategy. Run a weekly revenue call to review hotel performance with on property and corporate teams. Assist in building annual revenue budgets, providing insights, market data, and desired direction of the asset. Help build and present at the portfolio’s monthly calls with leadership, showcasing the properties performance and strategies.

The Vice President of Sales reports directly to the COO of Trailborn and is responsible for leading, prospecting and closing business across all sales groups at all Trailborn assets. The VP of Sales will work remotely and be responsible for creating the annual sales plan in conjunction with the entire commercial engine for each Trailborn Asset.
