Role Description Y Analytics is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Research Assistant to support our Data, Analytics, Reporting, and LP Engagement (DARL) team with special sustainability analytics projects, including: - Creating new dashboards - Automating reporting processes - Other data-focused process/program improvements The Research Assistant will also support TPG’s recurring firm-wide sustainability analytics and reporting initiatives, including: - Emissions accounting - Regulatory reporting - Physical climate risk assessment - LP engagement support Qualifications - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. - Graduate student or advanced undergraduate (i.e. student entering their final year of undergraduate studies) - Excellent data analytics skills, including facility with Microsoft Excel and preferably one or more other statistical tool(s) (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SQL) - Advanced data visualization experience, including the use of one or more dashboarding tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Streamlit) - Experience or demonstrated interest in responsible investing, corporate social responsibility, climate/sustainability, or a related field - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload with attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work - Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and fluency in English Requirements - Must be located in one of the following states during the internship: AZ, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, NJ, NY, TN, TX, VA, WI, AR, CO, IN, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NC, OH, PA, SC, UT, WA, WY - If physically located near a TPG office, working in-person may be an option - Duration: Late-August–Mid-December 2026 - Compensation: $20/hour - Time Commitment: 20 hours per week Application Instructions In lieu of a cover letter, please prepare a response to the prompt listed at the bottom of this job description and submit your application.
