• Liaise with internal teams (Product Management, Analysts etc) to understand requirements and develop testable Acceptance Criteria • Liaise with clients, as required, to understand and develop testable Acceptance Criteria • Provide Test estimates to support bid pricing, project costing and task planning. • Design, develop and execute automated tests using approved tools and frameworks. • Derive and design test cases following approved development testing standards and guidelines. • Design, develop and execute functional and non-functional tests (automated and manual as required) • Peer review QA and Test teamwork • Prioritise workload to meet agreed commitments. • Ensure approved development procedures are followed across the SDLC. • Capture, record, and document bugs allowing Development teams to readily reproduce issues. • Provide timely feedback to Line Management as required.
• Analyse, design, and support solutions across the Energy Trading & Risk Management landscape • Collaborate closely with the Implementation Team to understand customer needs and new feature requests • Translate high‑level requirements into well‑structured functional specifications, process maps, and user stories • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog refinement using Agile methodologies • Work with Engineering to ensure functional requirements are well understood, feasible, and aligned with architectural guidelines • Support Engineering in solution scoping, prototyping, and estimation activities • Contribute to solution design ensuring alignment with business workflows, ETRM best practices, and regulatory requirements • Proactively identify opportunities to improve product usability, workflows, and overall customer experience. • Mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on analysis techniques, product knowledge, and stakeholder engagement.
