Role Description The Lock Desk Analyst oversees and executes lock requests and other daily Lock Desk functions that each mortgage loan requires. Ensures accurate loan pricing from pricing to sales teams. - Supports the daily operational flow of the Lock Desk and ensures that locks received are priced accurately and meet program guidelines. - Coordinates change requests on existing rate locks including profile change requests, extensions, re-locks, and rate renegotiations. - Executes new reservations for DPA and state bond programs on their individual portals. - Generates weekly lock confirmation reports based on prior week’s lock request volume. - Compares differences from previous to the new loan structure and verifies any pricing changes for the branch. - Provides customer service and technical support to Loan Officers, responding to pricing questions and lock inquiries. Qualifications - Minimum High school diploma or equivalent required. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Microsoft Office suites experience required especially Excel. - Encompass and Optimal Blue systems experience preferred. - Two (2) years Lock Desk/Secondary Marketing experience preferred. - Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage experience. We’re a fast-paced, high-volume mortgage operation looking for a sharp, proactive Loan Officer Assistant who can support production, improve turn times, and help close more deals.
