Role Description Create the visual storytelling for a city-focused design brand. This role is for someone with great taste and great video production skills who can turn urban culture into consistent, cool, short-form content. You will be responsible for creating and posting social content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, building narrative threads around the product, and shaping how the brand shows up online. This is a high-output, creative execution role. It requires strong instincts for what resonates and the ability to ship quickly and improve quickly through iteration. What you will do - Film, edit, and publish short-form video content in New York, often around our product line, city environments, and everyday transit life and stories. - Organize and lead media shoots, including directing team members on camera and appearing on camera when necessary. - Develop recurring content formats, narrative hooks, and visual styles that help our pieces feel contemporary with city and digital life. - Engage with comments, messages, and community goings-on online. - Collaborate closely with our Creative team to align visuals and storytelling. - Travel to other major U.S. cities that we offer Metroboards for such as Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In the future, international travel will be required as we expand our offerings. Qualifications - Strong intuition for TikTok, Reels, and internet-native storytelling. - Comfort filming in NYC environments. - Taste for urban aesthetics, design objects, and city life. - Ability to work independently without heavy direction. - Speed, initiative, and consistency in video work. - Willingness to experiment and iterate quickly. - Comfort being on-camera.
