Role Description The Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) Systems & Data Strategy Manager will serve as the operational owner and primary administrator of CBED’s CRM and related data systems, leading ongoing implementation, optimization, adoption, and cross-functional integration efforts across the organization. Reporting to the Managing Director of Development, this role will strengthen CBED’s fundraising, program, and organizational data infrastructure through effective CRM administration, data governance, reporting, systems alignment, and user enablement. This position combines hands-on technical execution with strategic thinking. The CRM Systems & Data Strategy Manager will design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve database processes, workflows, reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and integrations that support fundraising, program delivery, stakeholder engagement, operational planning, and organizational decision-making. As a key cross-functional partner, this role will collaborate closely with leadership, development, program, finance, communications, and administration teams to ensure the integrity, accessibility, security, consistency, and strategic use of organizational data across systems. The CRM Systems & Data Strategy Manager will also help drive organization-wide CRM adoption by establishing sustainable processes, supporting staff training and change management, and ensuring the CRM evolves into a reliable, scalable, and actionable system that supports CBED’s long-term growth and impact. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy systems builder who can translate organizational needs into practical data tools and actionable insights and who thrives in a collaborative, growing organization. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and relevant experience required; relevant CRM, data analytics, or project management certifications preferred. - 5–7 years of professional experience with CRM systems administration, preferably with Salesforce or a similar platform. - Strong technical skills in CRM configuration, data management, reporting, dashboard development, and data quality control. - Experience integrating CRMs with other systems, including finance, marketing, communications, program, event, or business intelligence tools. - Experience supporting fundraising, donor management, program data, or stakeholder relationship workflows in a nonprofit, education, advocacy, or mission-driven setting preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and reporting tools such as Power BI or similar platforms preferred. - Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and present insights in clear, actionable ways for technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, document processes, and move system improvements from idea to implementation. - Excellent interpersonal and training skills, with the ability to support colleagues at varying levels of technical comfort. - Commitment to CBED’s mission and a passion for leveraging data and systems to drive impact. Director of Administration

Role Description The Director of Administration provides strategic and operational leadership across CBED’s administrative, human resources, IT, and compliance infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO), this position ensures that the organization’s core systems, people, processes, and platforms operate cohesively, efficiently, and in alignment with CBED’s mission, values, and growth strategy. This position plays a key role in building and sustaining the operational systems that enable CBED to deliver on its mission with efficiency, accountability, and equity. The Director is accountable for leading the daily execution of HR, IT, and administrative operations, maintaining compliance across all employment categories (full-time, part-time, and seasonal), and ensuring that organizational systems and policies are implemented effectively. This role is central to maintaining CBED’s culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The Director supervises the Administrative & Systems Coordinators and oversees HR and IT vendor relationships, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and service delivery. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). - 5+ years of progressive operations or HR management experience in a nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organization. - Demonstrated success leading administrative, HR, and IT functions in a hybrid or multi-site organization. - Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and data management best practices. - Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and project management platforms. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Commitment to equity, inclusion, and continuous organizational learning. - Model CBED’s values of integrity, transparency, and equity in all administrative practices, fostering a culture of operational excellence and trust. Managing Director of Accounting (Controller)

Role Description The Managing Director of Accounting leads CBED’s accounting function and is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the organization’s financial records and reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO), this role serves as the organization’s senior accounting leader, with full ownership of the monthly close, financial statements, internal controls, and audit process. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical accounting expertise with operational discipline and team oversight. The Managing Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong accounting processes, ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, and building a scalable accounting infrastructure to support the organization’s continued growth. The Managing Director directly supervises the accounting staff and works closely with external auditors, financial partners, and internal leadership to ensure accurate reporting and strong financial governance. This role owns the accounting function end-to-end, including financial reporting, internal controls, audit readiness, and the monthly close process. Core Accountabilities - Accounting Leadership & Financial Reporting: - Lead and manage the accounting function, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial reporting. - Own the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensure all financial reporting aligns with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards (ASC 958). - Maintain integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts. - Monthly Close & Operational Discipline: - Own and lead the monthly close process, including timelines, deliverables, and review of all accounting outputs. - Ensure a consistent, timely, and well-documented close process. - Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by the accounting staff. - Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or unusual financial activity. - Internal Controls & Compliance: - Design, implement, and maintain a strong internal control environment across all accounting processes. - Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. - Identify control gaps and implement improvements to mitigate risk. - Audit Leadership & External Relationships: - Lead the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors. - Prepare and review audit schedules, documentation, and financial statements. - Ensure audit readiness throughout the year. - Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed. - Restricted Funds & Nonprofit Accounting: - Oversee accounting for restricted and unrestricted funds, ensuring proper classification and reporting. - Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of grants, contracts, and program-related funding. - Maintain compliance with donor restrictions and reporting requirements. - Systems & Process Improvement: - Lead continuous improvement of accounting systems, workflows, and processes. - Identify opportunities for automation and increased efficiency. - Ensure accounting systems support accurate reporting and operational needs. - Partner with the CFAO on system enhancements and integration across functions. - Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Directly supervise the accounting staff, providing oversight, coaching, and performance management. - Establish clear expectations, workflows, and accountability within the accounting function. - Partner with Finance, Programs, and Development teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting and operational activity. - Support leadership and board reporting through accurate and timely financial data. - Other work requirements: - Must have access to a dedicated workspace, phone, and internet access. - This position may require occasional travel for meetings, events, and conferences. - Perform additional duties as assigned to support CBED’s mission and organizational priorities. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA strongly preferred. - Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. - Strong experience in nonprofit accounting, including fund accounting and restricted funds management. - Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards (ASC 958 preferred). - Proven experience leading monthly close processes and external audits. - Experience designing and implementing internal controls and accounting policies. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial data. - Experience supervising and developing accounting staff. - Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills. - Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. - Demonstrated alignment with CBED’s mission and commitment to equity and educational justice.
