• Respond to inquiries from members, providers, and brokers, delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality service. • Phone will be the primary channel of communication, with some use of email and chat as well. • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of inquiries, ensuring clear communication, thorough follow-up, and complete resolution. • Research and resolve issues related to benefits, eligibility, claims status, billing discrepancies, and cost-sharing. • Interpret plan documents, policies, and internal guidelines to provide clear and accurate guidance. • Initiate and track claims adjustments, reprocessing, or escalations in accordance with established procedures. • Identify root causes of issues, address underlying needs, and recommend process improvements. • Document all interactions in the CRM system (Salesforce) in compliance with HIPAA, privacy, and audit requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data, resolve issues, and address systemic challenges. • Regularly work a schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central time, Mondays through Fridays. • Serve as an escalation point for complex or sensitive inquiries, ensuring effective and timely resolution. • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex benefits, claims, and policy scenarios. • Lead cross-functional coordination to resolve high-impact issues and drive sustainable solutions. • Mentor and support team members through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing. • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts, modeling best-in-class service delivery.

Position Summary As an Account Executive with Texicare, you will serve as a strategic partner to agents, driving the retention and organic growth of our group insurance portfolio. You will join a dynamic and passionate team that is transforming the health insurance landscape by delivering innovative and affordable products and services to small businesses in Texas. Your primary focus will include providing excellent service and support to clients in West Texas (El Paso), retaining and growing the business, and building and maintaining long-term relationships with agencies. You will also collaborate closely with the Sales Executives and the Sales Enablement team to ensure smooth and seamless customer experience. To excel in this role, you must be a results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the health insurance industry and a proven track record of managing insurance accounts. Essential Job Functions In this role, you will: Retain and expand existing group insurance business by providing excellent service and support. Build and maintain long-term partnerships with agencies to ensure Texicare remains a carrier of choice. Lead the annual renewal cycle for all assigned accounts, delivering rate updates and plan options in a clear and timely manner. Collaborating with the Sales Executives and the Sales Enablement team to facilitate a seamless transition from new sales to ongoing account management. Resolve complex inquiries and service issues by identifying root causes to prevent recurring administrative burdens for the group. Conduct plan reviews with agents and clients to ensure an excellent member experience. Provide comprehensive training and support to agents regarding product portfolios, digital tools, and internal processes. Manage account activities, renewal pipelines, and relationships within Salesforce CRM. We estimate 25% travel time within the territory, with the remainder spent working remote in Texas. Texicare offers a flex-hybrid environment centered around collaboration and connection. All employees must reside in Texas. Team members living in the Austin area are expected to work from our office at least two days per week.
