Role Description The Mission Critical Sales Manager is responsible for mission critical outside sales efforts of the SENS sales team. They are responsible for designated markets, accounts, channels, and/or territories and will support customers in various applications with subject expertise, solutions, field support, and application guidance. - Establish, maintain, and develop long-term customer and channel relationships. - Meet designated product revenue and bookings targets. - Drive SENS brand and product specification and preference with mission critical customers. - Customer project site planning and execution. - Support all aspects of SENS datacenter product sales including specification analysis, project planning, and technical quotations. - Field product validation and commissioning when necessary. - Assist customers with quotations, product specifications, project designs, and system layouts. Qualifications - Technical ability to be a subject matter expert for industrial power systems, batteries, industrial engine starting, and their various applications. - Ability to travel up to 35% of time. Expected travel is 3-6 nights per month. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to quickly, consistently, and reliably establish and build trust with datacenter customers, representatives, service teams, and sales channel partners. - Ability to thrive in a high-level customer-facing sales position. - Self-driven learner who takes initiative and ownership. - Ability to function independently in a fast-paced, high-performance industrial sales environment. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in industrial sales. - Working knowledge of mission critical markets including industrial power generation, energy storage, and distribution. - Demonstrated high-achieving sales success. - Experience managing large (>$10M) industrial sales accounts.
